Srinagar: A tragic road accident in Keran, Kupwara, claimed the life of a teacher, Farid Ahmad, and injured seven others. The accident occurred when a vehicle bearing registration number HR 26BY0374 overturned, injuring all eight passengers on board.
Police reached the spot and transported the injured to the hospital, with some being transferred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. Farid Ahmad succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, while his critically injured father is currently receiving treatment.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
