Srinagar: An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Baramulla on Friday at 12:26 PM, said National Center for Seismology (NCS).

According to the NCS, the epicentre of the earthquake was located at Latitude 34.32 North, Longitude 74.34 East, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
In an X post’, the NCS said, “EQ of M: 4.1, On: 012/07/2024 12:26 IST, Lat: 34.32 N, Long: 74.34 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Baramulla.”
