Killing of Six HM terrorists in Kulgam a major setback to terrorism: Prithvi Raj Chauhan Commander 2 Sector RR

“Terrorists organizations are without leaders in Kashmir now”


Srinagar: The recent killing of six Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorists in Kulgam by the Security forces has been described as a significant setback to terrorist activities in the region.

Prithvi Raj Chauhan, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 2 Sector, in a press conference as per news agency Kashmir Scroll said that this operation has left terrorist organizations in Kashmir without leaders, marking a crucial blow to their operations.

The encounter, which took place over a span of 24 hours resulted in the deaths of six terrorists at two locations.

He said that locals have played a vital role in fight against the terrorism in Kulgam.

DIG South Kashmir Javid Iqbal  said that operations were launched in these areas on specific inputs about the presence of Terrorists in which six terrorists were killed.

He said that the killing of six terrorists is a big blow to the Terrorist organisations in Kashmir.
