Jammu: Two army soldiers were injured after an exchange of fire between militants and security forces took place in Machhedi area of Kathua district on Monday.
Officials told GNS that an army party came under fire in Machadi area from militants which retaliated, triggering a gunfight.
During firefight two army troopers received bullet wounds, who subsequently were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. Where their condition is said to be stable.
