Baramulla: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla on Monday and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, Police spokesperson said that the Police arrested a drug peddler named as Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh Ahmad resident of Nadirgund. He said that the 35 grams of contraband Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.

He has been arrested and shifted to PS Tangmarg where he remains in custody.

In this regard a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and investigation has been initiated.
