BSF man dies in Chenani-Nashri tunnel accident

Jammu: A BSF man dies in a road accident in Chennai-Nashri tunnel in Jammu division on Saturday.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place inside the Nashri tunnel when a vehicle Xylo bearing registration No. Jk01T-7905 loaded with passengers on its way from Srinagar towards Jammu lost its control inside the Chenani-Nashri tunnel and skidded off the road.

In the incident one passenger, Amit Kumar Shukla (30) son of Upendra Shukla resident of Jharkhand of 26 Bn BSF lost his life, he said.

The body of the deceased has been shifted to CHC Chenani for Autopsy, while police have registered the case and investigations taken up.
