Altaf Bukhari urges administration to ensure adequate arrangements in view of Muharram-ul-Haram

Srinagar: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on Thursday, urged the administration to ensure adequate arrangements for the smooth observance of the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

In a statement, Apni Party president, said, “As the sacred month of Muharram-ul-Haram is about to begin, I urge the administration to ensure all necessary arrangements for its smooth observance. The administration must ensure the availability of essentials, medical facilities, and an uninterrupted supply of potable water and electricity throughout this revered month, especially in Shia-dominated areas across Jammu and Kashmir. The relevant departments should ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation measures in and around Imambaras and other significant religious places.”
