Baramulla: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla on Tuesday and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, the Police spokesperson said that the police arrested a drug peddler named as Mohammad Qasim Bala son of Gh Mohammad resident of Bagh-e-Islam Old Town Baramulla. He said that the 10 grams of contraband Heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Baramulla where he remains in custody.
In this regard a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Baramulla and investigation has been initiated.
