Dr Darakhshan inaugurates new double story Sanitary Complex at Dargah Hazratbal, takes stock of Eid preparedness

Srinagar : Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board today inaugurated the double storied newly constructed Sanitary Complex at Dargah Hazratbal today. This new complex has been constructed by J&K Waqf Board within a very short span of time. It will facilitate the devotees visiting the Ziyarat Complex by providing them added sanitary facility. Waqf Board Members Syed Mohammed Hussain &  Dr Ghulam  Nabi Haleem along with Executive Magistrate of the Board Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin & Executive Engineer Tariq Kaloo were also part of this event. Dr Andrabi while dedicating this new complex to the people said that whole of J&K acknowledges the developmental works done by the Board during the past two years. “While some political beneficiaries of the loot from Waqf assets are unhappy with the transformation in whole system throughout J&K, majority of the people express their happiness on the developments which have changed the face of Waqf managed shrines in the UT. We are working hard to update the facilities at our spiritual shrines and the mission will continue “, said Dr Andrabi. She later took stock of the Eid preparedness in a meeting held after the event and emphasized on the need of coordinated efforts of various departments and the Board so that all facilities are properly in place.
