2 killed, 12 injured after mini-bus turns turtle in Rafiabad Baramulla

Baramulla: Two persons died and twelve others injured after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Pazalpora, Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Thursday.

They said the incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Dangiwacha Police Station in Rafiabad, Baramulla.

Initial reports suggested that the driver lost his control on the bus, causing it to overturn.

Soon after the mishap, the injured persons were rushed to nearby hospital.

Hospital authorities informed Greater Kashmir that they have received two persons dead on arrival and 12 others injured, whose condition is however stable. “We received 2 brought dead and 12 injured who are stable,” MS Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla said.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings.
