J&K High Court announces summer vacation

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Thursday announced a twenty-day summer vacation.

The vacation period effective from June 10, will culminate on June 29 – inclusive of both days.

“The period commencing from 10th to 15th June, 2024 shall be ‘No Work Period’ for the Hon’ble High Court,” reads an order, a copy of which lies with news agency Kashmir Scroll.

The Court has named four judges, two each in Srinagar and Jammu wings for the purpose to hear all matters of urgent nature.

At Jammu Wing, Justice Rahul Bharti will be hearing the (urgent) matters from 17th to 22nd June, 2024 and Justice Mohd. Yousuf Wani to preside over the court from 24th to 29th June, 2024.

At Srinagar wing, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi will hear the matters from 17th to 22nd June and Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal to oversee the court from 24th to 29th June, 2024.
