Two Militant Associates Held In Shopian

Shopian: Two Militant associates were held by the joint team of forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, Police said here on Saturday.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, a Police Spokesperson  said that during Joint Naka checking by Shopian Police along with 44 RR and 14th battalion CRPF at Malik Chak crossing, two militant associates were held.

They have been identified as Suhaib Iqbal Malik son of Mohd Iqbal Malik and Tufail Yousuf Malik son of Mohd Yousuf Malik both residents  of Baba Mohalla Shopian.

In this regard a case FIR No. 14/2024 under relevant sections of UA(P)A has been registered in Police Station Heerpora and the investigation is underway, he added.
