Baramulla:Police have arrested a drug peddler in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
In a statement issued to Asian Mail, a Police spokesperson said during the search one person identified as Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Suliaman resident of Chisti Colony Baramulla.
He further stated that 18 grams of contraband Heroin like substances was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Baramulla where he remains in custody.

Meanwhile, In this regard, a case FIR number 109/24 at Police Station Baramulla under relevant sections 8/21 NDPS in Police Station Baramulla and investigation is going on in this case.
