Boat Capsizes in Kashmir’s Pulwama, Seven Rescued, Two Missing


Pulwama: A boat carrying nine non-locals capsized in Hatiwara area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.

Reports said that a boat capsized at Hatiwara, and nine non-locals were on board. However, seven persons were rescued.

They said that the rescue operation for the other two missing persons has been started, and teams of SDRF and police are on the job.

A police officer said that efforts are ongoing to retrieve the other two missing persons. (KS)
