Property of drug peddler seized in Baramulla: Police

Baramulla: Police seized property worth lakhs of rupees belonging to a notorious drug peddler in Kunzar area of Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

In a statement, a police spokesman said that police  seized the property worth  50 lakhs of rupees  (9 marla land a two-storied residential . He was identified as Shabbir Ahmad Sufi son of Abdul Khaliq, resident of Mazhama as Magam.

The statement said that the action was taken under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985 and an FIR under No. 5/2024 has been registered in this regard at Police Station Kunzar.
