Drug peddler arrested in Shopian:Police

Shopian:Police arrested one Drug Peddler and recovered a Charas-like substance about 7Kg 584grams from his possession. Police spokesperson said that one person namely Farooq Ahmad Dar S/o Mohd Abdullah Dar R/o Darbagh Wachi has concealed Charas like contraband substances in his residential house. During a search of his residential house and cowshed three nylon polythene bags were recovered.

He said that the case FIR No. 32/2024 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Zainapora and investigation was taken up.
