Decomposed male body recovered from river Jhelum in Sopore

Sopore: Locals in Sopore town of Baramulla district made a grim discovery on Saturday morning when they found a decomposed male body floating in the river Jhelum.

According to officials, the fully decomposed body was recovered by some locals in the Kraltang area of Sopore. They immediately alerted the police about the finding.

Upon receiving the information, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and transferred the body to the SDH Sopore for identification and necessary medical procedures.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
