Social media user booked for posting ‘objectionable content’ against women: Police

Srinagar: Srinagar Police on Monday said it has booked a social media user for posting ‘objectionable content’ against women folk of a particular community.

 

Taking to micro-blogging site X, (formerly Twitter) Srinagar Police said, “Srinagar Police takes cognizance against an individual for posting objectionable/provocative content against women folk of a particular community on social media platform X”.

“FIR No 14/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rainawari & investigation initiated,” it added.
