Baramulla Police Seizes 4 Tractors involved in illegal mining at Kreeri, Wussan & Kunzer B’la; Arrests 4 Drivers

Baramulla: Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Kreeri, Wussan & Kunzer B’la, the Baramulla Police seized four tractors, besides arresting four drivers.
The Police initiated the action under the supervision of SDPO Kreeri,Pattan & Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Kreeri/ Kunzer & IC PP Wussan.
The police seized 4 Tractors & arrested 4 drivers namely Tariq Ahmad Ganie son of Assadullah Ganie resident of Saloosa Kreeri, Ab Rashid Karnie son of Gh Mohd resident of Wazapora Naidkhai, Younis Ahmad Bhat son of Gh Nabi & Mohd Imran Khan son of Abdul Gaffar both residents of Aboora Baramulla.
The drivers alongwith their vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly case FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Kreeri, Kunzer & Pattan against them and investigations taken up.
