Two dead, as many injured in Udhampur road accident

Udhampur: Two persons died while two more were injured in a road accident in Udhampur district of Jammu division on Tuesday.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that two persons died while as two more were injured after a truck hit two motorcycles near Dhudar Nallah on Dhar Road Udhampur.

Those who lost their lives have been identified as Rahul Singh son of Rasal Singh resident of village Borla in Udhampur district and Subham Samotra son of Sham Lal resident of Nile Nahlla Udhampur.

Injured were identified as Ajay son of Chaty ram resident of Ramnagar area of Udhampur and Sunil Kumar son of Tara Chand Brola resident of Udhampur.

Officials said that Ajay has been shifted to Jammu for treatment while Sunil is undergoing treatment at Udhampur.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started further investigation.
