BJP questions Congress’s stand on Article 370

Srinagar: BJP National General Secretary and J&K Incharge Tarun Chug on Saturday questioned Congress’s stand on Article 370.

He said it was important for people to know about their stand on Article 370 and 35 A.

“I want to ask Congress leaders, they should tell to people of J&K and Bharat as to what is their stand on 370 and 35 A. If they have a tie up with NC (National Conference) and PDP (Peoples Democratic Party), who had thrown J&K on burning embers in 1990s,they should tell as to what their stand is,” Chug told reporters in Srinagar after presiding over the BJP’s 44th foundation day.

The BJP leader said that there was nothing in Congress manifesto released on Friday.

“Congress manifesto is a deception only. Don’t know if it has been designed, printed or written outside. ..I can smell from the Congress manifesto that George Soros who is out to destroy India, his toolkit has a role,” Chug said.

The BJP leader also hit out at the Abdullah, Mufti and Gandhi-Nehru families for pushing J & K into turmoil.

“I want to tell these families now that they have been rejected by the people of J&K. They had confined J&K’s development and now it is progressing,” he said.

Chug said the BJP workers have worked tirelessly to ensure the agenda of Pakistan and China does not succeed in Jammu and Kashmir.
