Uri Infiltration Bid:  One More Militant Killed, Toll Reaches 02, Searches Continue

 

Srinagar: Another unidentified militant  has been killed taking the toll to two after security forces foiled a Infiltration bid in Sahura Nala area of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A top official told GNS that two militants has been killed, one body recovered so far in the firefight.

He further said that Searches in the area are underway.

Earlier, during the wee hours, movement of militants were detected. Infiltrators were challenged by the security forces, leading to a firefight.

During firefight one militant was killed, whose identity was not yet ascertained, he said.
