Party high command to decide where from I will contest LS polls: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar : National Conference Vice-President Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that it is the party high command who will decide where from I will contest Lok Sabha elections. He said the party leadership will decide whether I will be allowed to contest elections and where from?
“Rumors are usual during election time. It is the party who will take a call on whether I will contest polls or not, and from which Parliamentary segment?” Omar as per KNS told reporters at Nawa-e-Subh Srinagar.
He said it is not my personal but the party who has to take a call on my mandate. “I will leave the matter to the party,” he said.
On the list of candidates, the former chief minister responded that the party will share the list at an appropriate time.
“It depends on our mood to announce the list of candidates. Hopefully the list will be announced after notification, or may be made public when there will be the last date for filing nomination. So do not go in a hurry,” Omar Abdullah added.
He said INDI Alliance is going to hold a convention at Ramlila Maidan New Delhi on April 1st in which NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah will take part.
