Srinagar: A scooty-rider died after an accident at Lasjan Panthachowk in Srinagar this afternoon, official sources said.
The sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a scooty-rider identified as Ashiq Hussain of Budgam met with an accident, resulting in his critical injuries.
He was shifted to SMHS Hospital where he succumbed soon after.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
