Mumbai:  The Rupee on Tuesday eased one paisa to close at 82.78 against USD on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit rose 3 paise at 82.74 in opening trade and finished at 82.78, declining by one paisa

as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 82.73 and 82.81 respectively, dealer added.
