Paris: Three teenagers aged between 15 and 17 have been detained in France as part of an ongoing investigation into the preparation of a terrorist attack in Belgium, French media reported on Wednesday.
The teenagers allegedly communicated on a social network, with law enforcement officers detecting Islamist propaganda and references to mentions of preparation for terrorist attacks in their discussions, French broadcaster BFMTV reported.
On March 3, Belgian police detained four people, including three minors, on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack at a concert hall in Belgium and discussing the plot on a messaging app, Belgian TV channel RTBF reported, citing the prosecutor’s office.
