Anganwadi worker found dead in Ganderbal

Ganderbal : A 57-year-old woman was found dead in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday afternoon, sources said.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a female dead body was recovered from the Power Canal Haknar Gund area of Kangan by some locals. Accordingly, police were informed.
He said that after reaching the spot, police took the dead body to a nearby Kangan hospital for medical formalities.
Meanwhile, a police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the dead body of a female has been identified as Haseena Begam, an anganwadi worker. The officer said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
