NH-44 Revives Again, Traffic Restored

Srinagar: Vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was restored after remaining off owing to road widening work, said the J&K Traffic Police on Wednesday.

J&K Traffic Police in a post on X said, “Traffic restored on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44), single way traffic at Dalwas, all commuters to observe lane discipline and strictly follow law enforcement agencies directions (sic).”

It was also advised to the commuters to avoid overtaking while plying on the NH44.

Meanwhile, the officials also said that SSG Road, Mughal Road, Kishwar-Sithan-Anantnag and Bhaderwah-Chamba roads are closed for vehicular movement due to snow accumulation.
