NH44 Reopens Fully; Mughal, SSG Roads Remain Closed

Srinagar: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was fully thrown open for traffic movement on Saturday after remaining closed owing to restoration works at several places along the NH44.

J&K Traffic Police in an X post said  that the NH44 was through for vehicular movement and advised commuters to follow lane discipline besides driving cautiously as a road stretch near Sherbibi is single lane as well as slippery at a number of places.

A lone surface link between Kashmir and other parts of the country was closed for the traffic movement due to mudslides and slippery conditions at several places.

Meanwhile, it was also said that the Mughal road and SSG road remain closed for vehicular movement.
