Ganderbal: On a specific information regarding the presence of contraband substances in the house of Gulab Ahmad Khari S/O Gh Hussain Khari R/O Syed Basti Sarfraw, a search was conducted by Police after receiving special inputs regarding in this matter.
On seeing the Police Party, the accused managed to escape from the spot. Further, during the raid contraband substance in two nylon bags containing crushed cannabis like substance were recovered from the cow shed of the accused person, weighing more than 14 Kgs, which was seized in presence of Executive Magistrate First Class Gund.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 06/2024, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Gund & further investigation has been taken up.
