Notorious Drug Peddler’s Property Worth Lakhs Attached in Kulgam: Police

Police spokesperson said that a property (double storey residential house and cowshed), measuring 1291.48 Sq. Ft valuing Rs 25,62,425 and 1139.5 Sq.Ft valuing Rs 6,78,803 respectively belonging to a notorious drug peddler Bashir Ahmad Khanday Son of Mohammad Sultan Khanday, a resident of Nippora was attached under section 68-F(2) of NDPS Act 1985.

“The property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Kulgam police. The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drug and psychotropic substances by the owner,” the police spokesperson said.

It was also said that the drug peddler has been involved in a case FIR number 148/2022 of Police Station Qazigund.
