Have achieved success in Maintaining Law and Order, Normalcy with Public Cooperation: Div Com Kashmir

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Wednesday said that Kashmir has achieved success not just in maintaining peace and order but also in various other areas, adding such accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the cooperation of the public.
Addressing a gathering here at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar, Bidhuri said that In 2023, a record number of tourists visited Srinagar’s Tulip Garden, and although there could have been traffic congestion issues, actions taken the previous year prevented any such problems.

Bidhuri said whether it was the G20 event, Amarnath Yatra, Muharram Procession, or other occasions, everything was celebrated collectively which shows the essence of “Kashmiriyat” for which Kashmir is renowned.

Expressing pride in his participation in these moments, Bidhuri called upon the public to continue their cooperative efforts for sustained success.

Commending the efforts of contingents participating in the Republic Day Rehearsal celebrations, Bidhuri acknowledged their role in contributing to the positive narrative of progress and unity in Kashmir.
