There will be no strike on January 9 and 10: Jammu and Kashmir Transporters Welfare Association


Srinagar: General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Transporters Welfare Association, Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf has opposed the 2-day strike call given by All Kashmir Transporters Confederation and said that on the 9th and 10th of January, all types of vehicles will be plying on every road as usual.

In a telephonic conversation with Asian Mail, he said that the central Government has kept the recent law pending, however, the Central Government should return the anti-transporters law immediately.

Mohammad Yousuf said that an emergency meeting of all associations associated with the Jammu and Kashmir Transporters Welfare Association was held, in which the 2-day strike call given by the All Kashmir Transporters Confederation was discussed. It has been decided that no action will be taken on the two-day strike call.
He said that all types of transport, including buses, will run on the roads as usual.
