Batamaloo Traders and Transport Associations bid emotionally charged farewell to outgoing DC Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad

Srinagar:  Mohammad Aijaz Asad outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar was given an affectionate and emotionally charged farewell by Batamaloo Traders and Transport  Associations here in an impressive function.

The whole team of the Batamaloo Traders and Transport  Associations praised Mohammad Aijaz Asad for his extraordinary work during his tenure as Deputy  Commissioner Srinagar especially during the pandemic of COVID 19 where he not only ensured a uninterrupted supply of oxygen, medicine and other essential commodities.

The members also hailed the efforts of the outgoing DC for personally addressing the grievances of common people during his tenure besides transforming  outlook of Srinagar City into a world class City.

The Business Community also applauded the efforts of the outgoing DC for giving first priority to resolve the issues raised by business community from time to time particularly issue related to transport system at Batamaloo, up-gradation of Parimpora Transport Nagar or issues related to Shahr e Khaas.

The Traders also praised the DC for hand holding of Artisans and women entrepreneurs through different schemes.

Chairman Abrar Khan and President Hilal Ahmad Mandoo, General Secretary Altaf Dar Chairman Education Committee Suhail Jan, Advisor Dr Tauseef Vice President Ayub,  Chief Advisor Abdul Rehman Sofi, chief organiser Bashir Siraj  and Secretaries Danish Pandiw and Ms Kausar were present in the function.
