Ukraine loses up to 350 troops in Donetsk Direction over past 24 hrs

Moscow: Ukraine lost up to 350 military personnel killed or injured in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

“The total enemy losses in this direction amounted to up to 350 military personnel killed and injured, two armoured personnel carriers, and six pickup trucks. One M777 artillery system and one US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system were hit during counter-battery fire,” the ministry said.

The Russian forces repelled a total of two attacks in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the ministry added.

In the Lyman and Kupyansk directions, the Russian military repelled one and six attacks by the Ukrainian army, respectively, eliminating up to 150 Ukrainian service people in total, the ministry said.

Kiev also lost up to 115 troops, two infantry fighting vehicles, three vehicles, a reconnaissance and electronic warfare station in the South Donetsk direction, and up to 45 troops in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions, the Russian military said.
