Range Police Hqr Srinagar Successfully Concludes Computer Course for Students Under CAP

Srinagar: In a function held at Police Public School Srinagar, certificates were given to all the students upon completion of basic computer course. The course meant for fifty-girl students of the three districts of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal was organised by Range Police Hqr Srinagar under DIG Shri Sujit Kumar-IPS, as part of J&K Police civic action program (CAP). On the occasion, police officers including Staff Officer to DIG CKR Shri Sajjad Khaliq Bhat, SP West Srinagar Shri Amit Verma, SDPO West Srinagar Shri Shah Jahan as well as teachers and other staff of the school were present.
The course consisted of Word, Excel and Power-Point. It was designed by computer team of RPHQ Srinagar and lectures were delivered by police officials of RPHQ as well as teachers of Police Public School. During the entire course, lunch and refreshments were provided every day to all the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sajjad Khaliq congratulated all the participants for completing the course. The officer said that J&K police has been conducting various civic action programs to help people and increase police-public proximity. He said police department has been pushing to have more and more programs under civic action program and in this respect RPHQ Srinagar has already sent new proposals to J&K Police Hqrs.
