Multitude of impactful events held under VBSY in Srinagar areas

Srinagar: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today successfully organized the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) at four locations in Batpora, Zakura, Ahmad Nagar, and Soura areas of Srinagar, where a multitude of impactful events took place.

During the program, various events were conducted, including the heart-touching ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ where beneficiaries of government welfare schemes shared their life-changing experiences. Moreover, free health care check-ups, Aadhar card registration, Ayushman card generation, and registration for various government schemes were facilitated, ensuring that those in need could easily access important services.

Furthermore, the IEC van, provided by the Government of India, showcased informative short films at all locations to highlight the diverse welfare schemes of the government, such as the PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Svanidhi, and more.

Through the successful execution of the VBSY, the SMC has reinforced its commitment to uplifting communities, amplifying the voices of beneficiaries, and ensuring that essential government welfare schemes are readily accessible to all.
