Kulgam: A Police party of Police Station Kulgam while on patrolling intercepted a suspicious person namely *Dawood Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Amin Bhat R/O Tazipora Mohmadpora, Kulgam* carrying a nylon bag at *Tazipora Mohmadpora*. After checking, officers present were able to recover *7.4Kgs of PoppyStraw* like contraband substance filled in the said bag from his possession. He was arrested on spot.
In this connection, a case with FIR No *199/2023 U/S 8/15 of NDPS act* stands registered at *police station Kulgam* and investigation has been initiated.
