Rajouri: A soldier was killed during an encounter that broke out in the Baji Maal forest area of Rajouri district on Wednesday, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that security forces were on a search operation in Baji Maal forest area when contact was established with hiding militants.
He said that in the ensuing encounter, an army soldier was killed, while an operation was going on.
