DC Kulgam finalises preparations for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of Officers to finalise the action plan and preparations for smooth and successful conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district.

The DC directed the Officers to ensure maximum public participation in Viksit Yatra, which is aimed to raise awareness about the Government’s achievements and schemes among the public, across the district.

It was informed by concerned Nodal officers, entrusted with the Yatra arrangements, that all arrangements have been put in place to make the Yatra impactful.

Digital Vans, it was informed, will traverse all Panchayats of the district including urban areas, delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting of promotional events and publicising the government schemes.

It was also informed that district administration has prepared a comprehensive schedule to cover all blocks and urban areas, with Nodal Officers assigned specific duties for a smooth yatra passage.

During the meeting, the DC stressed the importance of flagship schemes and underlined the need for effective projection of the same to maximize their impact.

He called for effective coordination among the departments for the successful conduct of Yatra while finalising the District Action Plan.

The Yatra shall start from November, 20 in the district till its culmination after covering all village of the district up to December, 10

Among others, ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; DPO, Ab Rashid Dass; ACR, Imtiyaz-Ul-Aziz and other district/ sectoral officers attended the meeting.
