DC Ganderbal chairs Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting at JNV Hatbura

Ganderbal: In order to enhance the overall functioning of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Ganderbal, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) meeting of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Hatbara at School Campus Ganderbal.

The meeting was attended by Principal JNV Hatbara, CMO Ganderbal, CEO Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B Division Ganderbal, Executive engineer JKPDD Ganderbal and other committee members.

At the outset, the Principal JNV, Hatbara gave a detailed overview about the functioning of Vidyalaya. Principal informed committee members about the school strength, previous year board results, status of construction in JNV etc.

The DC stressed upon the school management to work for overall development of the students and laid emphasis to motivate the students to take part in extracurricular activities for physical and mental wellness.

During the meeting, DC also took stock of various ongoing projects within the school premises and emphasized the need for their timely completion. The concerned stakeholders were apprised of the importance of adhering to deadlines and ensuring the swift execution of projects.

The DC addressed concerns regarding internal roads, aiming to enhance the overall accessibility and convenience within the school premises.

A significant directive was issued by the DC, instructing the Principal of JNV to initiate a MoU with the RDD for the installation of dustbins within the school premises and for garbage collection.

The DC directed the school authorities to submit a detailed report about the functioning of the school including achievements in curricular and co-curricular activities. He also gave necessary direction to the concerned agencies for timely completion of pending work.
