Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Srinagar: Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Srinagar celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at the school campus today, to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and promote the national unity.

Tribute to Sardar Patel was offered highlighting his pivotal role in unifying the Nation besides organizing a quiz competition to test knowledge of students on India’s unity and diversity

The school further reinforced its commitment to unity, as the students, teachers, and staff members collectively took a pledge affirming their commitment to preserve the unity and integrity of India.

A Unity Run started from the campus of KV No.1 Srinagar and culminated at Shivpora. Students, teachers, and parents alike participated in the run, and displayed their unwavering commitment to the ideals championed by Sardar Patel. The students also participated in slogan writing and poster making activities allowing the students to express their thoughts through art and creativity.

The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration fostered a sense of unity and patriotism among the students and the entire school community. The event served as a reminder to preserve and cherish the diverse and unified fabric of the nation.
