Srinagar: A policeman who was fired upon by suspected militants near Wailoo Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, officials said.
In a X post police said, that the injured Police Personnel succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom. Area has been cordoned off. Search operation is going on.
Pertinently, on Sunday an inspector of Police namely Masroor Wani was critically injured after militants fired upon him on Sunday while he was playing cricket at Eidgah Srinagar. On Monday a non-local labourer was shot dead in Pulwama.
