Pampore: An Army soldier allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
An official said that the soldier shot himself dead with his service rifle at Chandhara area of Pampore.
He said that police have taken cognisance of the matter under 174 CRPC.
The official said that it was not immediately known as to why the soldier took this extreme step.
