Ganderbal: In connection with Rashtriya Ekta Diwas-2023 and UT Foundation Day celebrations on 31st October, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir, today chaired a  meeting to review arrangements for the celebrations.

The meeting had threadbare discussions on the details of events planned to be organized in line with the program outlined by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs as part of the Rashriya Eikta Diwas and UT Foundation Day celebrations.

The DC emphasized that all departments in close coordination shall incorporate multiple activities such as cleanliness drives, debates, painting competition, sports events, health and wellness camps besides showcasing the positive transformations that have taken place in the district from the last four years.

The meeting among others was attended by ADDC, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; CPO, Irfan Giri, ACR, Programme Officer ICDS, CMO, CEO and other officials.
