Illegal Mining of Minerals at Reram Kunzer & Chakloo B’la: Police Seizes 6 Tippers; Arrests 5 Drivers, 1 fled away

Baramulla: Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Reram Kunzer & Chakloo, the Baramulla Police on seized six tippers besides arresting five drivers,1 fled away.

The Police initiated the action under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla & SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Baramulla & Kunzer respectively.

The police seized 6 Tippers & arrested 5 drivers namely

Showket Ahmad Kuthoo s/o Gh Ahmad R/o Pariswani Waseem Ahmad Khan s/o Ab Hameed Khan R/o Treran Tangmarg, Firdous Ahmad Dar S/O Abdul Majeed Dar,Mohd Saleem Dar S/O Gh Nabi Dar & Amir Ahmad Gojree S/O Mushtaq Ahmed Gojree Dar all residents of Jalsheeri

The drivers alongwith their vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Baramulla & Kunzer respectively against them and investigations taken up.
