MeT Expects ‘Mainly Dry’ Weather in J&K, Ladakh Till October End

Srinagar: Weather is likely to remain “mainly dry” in J&K and Ladakh UTs till the end of this month, said the Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday morning.

As per the news agency CNS, the MeT department said that they are expecting the weather to remain dry in both UTs of J&K and Ladakh from 24th-30th October, with skies to be “fair to partly cloudy” during the period.

Besides the weather expected to be gloomy and dry from tomorrow till 30th October, there will also be poor visibility during the morning hours in plains of Kashmir, said an official from the MeT department in its latest weather update.

The weatherman also ruled out the chances of any major rain or snow in J&K and Ladakh till the end of this month.

Regarding the harvesting and other outdoor activities, the weather was expected to remain favourable for the same.
