Ganderbal: To put an end to the use and spread of Drug Menace, Ganderbal Police is making consistent efforts by way of enforcement operations. Information received from reliable sources regarding presence of Contraband Substance in a newly Constructed House at Rakh-i-Haran in the Jurisdiction of PS Ganderbal.
Acting Swiftly on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, a special Police team led by SHO PS Ganderbal reached the spot. During the search of the house, 05 Kg’s (Approx.) Crushed Cannabis (Bang Patri) Contraband Substance was recovered & Seized. The owner of the house was arrested and his identity was given as Noor Mohd Ganai S/O Gh Nabi Gani R/O Rakh Haran Ganderbal.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 288/2023, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & investigation has been taken up.
The General Public has applauded the Swift action of Ganderbal Police in eradicating Drug menace from the society. Ganderbal Police requests the general public to avoid cultivation of Contraband Substances in their fields, so that the young generation can be saved from drug abuse.
