32-year-old woman injured in bear attack in Bandipora

Srinagar: A 32-year-old woman was left injured in a bear attack in Saderkote Payeen village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Tuesday evening.

They told GNS that one Dali Bano, 32, daughter of Abdur Rahim Sheikh of SK Payeen was attacked and injured near Sunset Wullar Point.

The woman, they said, was soon after evacuated to a nearby hospital from where she was referred to a Srinagar hospital for specialised treatment.
