Ganderbal Police held meeting with families of Police Martyrs at DPL

Ganderbal: On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, a meeting was held with the NOKs of Police Martyrs at DPL Ganderbal.

The meeting was chaired by Dy. SP DAR Nazir Ahmad in which NOKs of Police Martyrs & other Police officers participated.

The meeting was organised to take stock of the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

Dy. SP DAR, DPL Ganderbal while addressing the NOK’s of Police Martyrs assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones in sacrificing their lives for the sake of the nation.

He further said that J&K police will always remain indebted to their services by creating an atmosphere of peace & stability. Further, the Chairing Officer emphasised the NOKs of Police Martyrs to consider the Police department as their own family and share their problems with us at any time.

During the interaction, various genuine grievances were raised by the Martyr families and they were assured that their grievances would be taken up with concerned quarters at an appropriate level for timely redressal.

Finally, NOKs of Police Martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond between them and J&K Police Department.
